Just wondering if anybody else has realized they have a bit of stuff they don’t need anymore after they moved in? Maybe you upgraded and bought some nicer kitchen equipment, or you’ve got some art or books you just don’t want any more.
I was thinking maybe we could have a community garage sale or something like that. Anything not sold we could pool together and donate to Value Village or some other charity. Depending on how much stuff is left over we’d probably have to arrange a drop-off, though.
My suggestion would be that the proceeds go to getting some supplies for a community block party; stuff like food and drinks, maybe renting some tables & chairs?
